After successful collaboration on Marine Parade, Tim and Mark reunited as site managers for this substantial £15 million healthcare facility constructed by Speller Metcalfe for the NHS. The scale and complexity of the project required both managers to oversee multiple construction packages simultaneously, coordinating with other team members and managing numerous specialist subcontractors.
The unprecedented challenge of delivering this critical healthcare infrastructure during the COVID-19 pandemic tested every aspect of project management—from maintaining construction progress whilst implementing rigorous safety protocols, to managing supply chain disruptions and workforce challenges that characterized that period.
It was during this project, whilst successfully navigating these extraordinary circumstances and delivering essential NHS facilities, that Tim and Mark conceived the idea of founding TIMARK Construction. The project demonstrated their capability to manage large-scale, multi-million pound construction projects under pressure, their complementary management styles, and their shared commitment to quality and client satisfaction—qualities that would define their company.
