TIMARK Construction was contracted as specialist subcontractors to deliver comprehensive structural and groundworks for this substantial double rear extension project. Our scope encompassed the complete removal of an existing conservatory and rear extension, followed by the careful demolition of the rear chimney breast from external face to ground floor level.
The project required precision engineering, including undermining the rear of the property to establish solid foundations capable of supporting structural steelwork. We executed all groundworks including new foundation construction, comprehensive storm and foul drainage systems, and connections to the main sewer. Additional drainage infrastructure was installed to the side of the property to ensure complete site coverage.
TIMARK constructed all masonry walls up to wall plate level, coordinated the installation of structural steel beams, and delivered renovation works throughout the property. Our team also created structural door openings internally, seamlessly integrating the new extension with the existing structure. This project showcased our ability to work collaboratively within a larger construction team whilst maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
