This phased renovation project began with completing an unfinished loft conversion before transforming the ground floor into a modern, energy-efficient living space. TIMARK’s first task was fully plastering the first floor, enabling our clients to move their belongings upstairs and establish temporary living quarters during the extensive ground floor works.
Ground floor transformation involved creating new doorway openings whilst blocking up redundant ones to improve traffic flow. We dismantled an old chimney, reclaiming valuable space and modernizing the interior. All floorboards were lifted to install comprehensive insulation in preparation for an underfloor heating system, significantly improving energy efficiency and comfort.
Our team completed all chasing work for the new electrical installation, ensuring cables were properly concealed whilst maintaining structural integrity. The culmination was re-plastering the entire ground floor, creating smooth, contemporary surfaces throughout. This project demonstrates our expertise in managing phased renovations that allow clients to remain in occupation whilst their home undergoes dramatic transformation.
